Everything about the 2026 cohort, said out loud and in one room: what the program covers, what certification you leave with, what it costs (nothing), and exactly how the selection process works.

Bring questions. The instructors who run the cohort are the ones answering them, and the session is deliberately longer than the material needs so there's time for the ones that matter to you.

  • Working porters, guides, and base camp crew considering formal certification.
  • Anyone weighing a career in the mountains with no idea where the first step is.
  • Families of applicants — the funding and time commitment are worth hearing first-hand.

No prior technical experience is assumed, and nothing about attending commits you to applying.
